Canillo in brief

Canillo is situated in the north-east of Andorra at over 1500m altitude, and is located 12km from Andorra la Vella. It is part of the Grandvalira skiing region which permits access to El Tarter, Encamp, Pas de la Casa and Soldeu. The season runs each year from December to April.

Canillo’s skiing area

Canillo’s skiing area is suitable for all levels of skiers, although there are numerous blue and red runs which make it an ideal ski resort for intermediate skiers. There are also over 100 slopes and 64 lifts in Canillo’s resort.

What is there to do in Canillo?

In Canillo, there are a few bars and restaurants. It is a quiet town which is known to serve traditional Catalan food in its restaurants. Not far from Canillo is Caldea, a luxury spa complex which is a great experience!

How do we get there?

There is not an airport in Andorra, but you could fly to Toulouse airport in South France, which would entail a 3 hour journey from Toulouse to Andorra by car.
