Soldeu in brief
Soldeu is the main resort in Andorra. The Grandvalira Lift Pass gives you access to not only Soldeu, but El Tarter, Canillo, Encamp and Pas de la Casa. The season runs each year from December to April, and the resort lies at 1800m altitude.

Soldeu’s skiing area
Soldeu’s skiing area is shared with Pas de la Casa, over 120km of pistes. It is particularly suitable for beginner and intermediate level skiers, with 16% green runs, 33% blue runs, 31% red runs and 20% black runs. There is also 68km of snowmaking and 64 lifts, offering a wide range of good level skiing throughout the season.
What is there to do in Soldeu?
Soldeu is a warm and friendly area, with nice bars and restaurants. There are 3 rustic restaurants, with Borda del Rector being particularly reputable. An English restaurant called ‘Snails and Quails’ is a great restaurant, offering holidayers a taste of home!
The après-ski activities are popular, and the atmosphere is described as delightfully warm! There are rep-organised activities such as pub crawls, to pubs such as The Aspen and The Pussycat, both being local favourites.
Other activities include visiting Andorra la Vella, to visit the impressive Caldea Luxury Spa and there is time for some serious shopping opportunities!
