La Rosiere
From the La Rosiere ski resort you can ski or snowboard in both France and Italy! The resort is part of the Espace San Bernardo and offers a great mixture of cosmopolitan skiing and apres-ski. It is a member of the "P'tits Montagnards" club which groups together the resorts specially adapted for children and offers a large choice of apres ski activities and entertaining nights to spend with family and friends.
La Rosiere -
From La Rosiere ski in the sun on the French side of the mountain and then take a trip across to the Italian side to find good snow later in the day. While you are there why not make the most of being in Italy and sample some great pasta! La Rosiere is the only resort in the Tarentaise to offer an international ski area of 150km pistes thanks to the link to La Thuile in the Aosta valley making L'Espace San Bernado - see the Piste Map. For this reason we recommend that you purchase the San Bernado Ski Lift Pass.

The La Rosiere ski resort doesn't quite have the charm that some Alpine villages have, but it does offer easy access to its main cable cars. The majority of the accommodation in this ski resort is in close walking distance from the main ski area. A winter resort ideal for families, nightlife isn't a main feature of this ski resortm although there are a few bars.

In the winter resort of La Rosiere, there are plenty of activities on offer including paragliding, snow-mobiles, snow shoe walks, ice-skating, off-piste guiding and ice-driving. If the snow & weather report is so bad that you need to stay indoors there is also a sports hall and cinema, but generally La Rosiere experiences good snow conditions.
