Les Deux Alpes
Les Deux Alpes is a reasonable sized town incorporating a range of styles from traditional chalets to recent developments. The ski lifts in the morning can seem overcrowded but once you ascend higher into the mountain range the crowds soon disappear. This ski resort boasts high snow-sure slopes, excellent off-piste options and sunny nursery slopes, all benefiting from good snow conditions. This, along with a great party atmosphere throughout the resort makes it appealing to beginners and experts alike, whether skiing or snowboarding. Les Deux Alpes -There is plenty of skiing in the Les Deux Alpes ski resort - with a vertical rise of 2000m and 220km of pistes! Only a few runs are available on the upper ski slopes but these include some easy runs - even beginner skiers and snowboarders can enjoy the views from the top! Take a look at our Piste map. For the more adventurous the off-piste ski slopes of La Grave are a must, especially with a guide. The only downside to the skiing in this resort is perhaps the end of the day run back to the main resort which is a choice between a narrow green and a steep black. Fortunately there are telecabines back for those that don't fancy either piste. Les Deux Alpes has built up an excellent reputation for snowboarding thanks to the snow park and high proportion of chair lifts. The Mondial du Snowboard competition is held in Les 2 Alpes each year. Les Deux Alpes -Les Deux Alpes is a long narrow village - centred around one access road lined with a collection of accommodation, bars and shops. It is one of the liveliest resorts in France with the nightlife second to none offering a wide variety of pubs, bars, clubs and restaurants that are mostly located at the south end of town. For a combination of fun ski and resort, then the ski resort of Les Deux Alpes is the place to holiday in! Les Deux Alpes -With activities and facilities such as ice skating, ice gliding, a swimming pool, sauna, gyms, cinemas and a bowling alley there is more than enough to keep you entertained in Le Deux Alpes.
