Les Orres

Situated in the Hautes-Alpes, Les Orres is a paradise for skiers and snowboarders of an Intermediate ability, however the resort provides 88km of slopes and so also caters well for beginners or advanced snow fanatics. The Les Orres ski resort is surrounded by forests, featuring a beautiful panoramic view of Serre-Ponçon lake. For those looking to snowboard in Les Orres there is a great snow park.

Les Orres -

Most of the ski slopes at Les Orres are graded as Intermediate or Easy so Intermediates skiers and snowboarders will be in their element and beginners are bound to also have a good time too. For advanced skiers, there isn’t much choice here, though the three black pistes are a challenge the first time you ski them. There is a lot of ground to cover off piste so if you prefer this kind of skiing, then there really is no other better place. Most of the pistes are above 2000m meaning that there will be plenty of snow and good conditions from the start of the season until the very end.

Les Orres -

The Les Orres ski resort has two villages. The village higher up the mountain was built in 2008, and has a number of high quality apartments. This ski resort is a great family choice due to the ski in, ski out posibilities, resort childcare from 6 months and outdoor swimming pools to relax in after skiing. The village located at around 1600m is the older part of the resort, containing more restaurants, shops and an ice-rink.

Les Orres -

There are plenty of bars in the Les Orres winter resort and if you feel like dancing into the early hours, there is a nightclub called ‘Les Caves’. If you aren’t in the mood to hit the ski slopes then there are plenty of other things to be doing such as bowling, going to the cinema or shopping. Les Orres even has it’s very own shopping mall.
