Morzine

Morzine is a fairly big resort in an ideal location to explore the Porte de Soleil ski area, which provides you with some of the best ski slopes in Europe. It’s position next to the River Dranse offers pretty scenery regardless of the time of the year, meaning that your ski holiday here will be wonderful whenever you arrive!

Regardless of your ability, if you are looking to either ski in Morzine, or snowboard, then you will have a fantastic assortment of ski slopes on which to test and improve your skiing and snowboarding skills. For beginners, there are several nursery ski slopes dotted around Morzine, so they will not be too far from your accommodation! Intermediates will benefit the most from visiting the Morzine ski resort. With nearly 30 red ski runs, there is plenty to keep you occupied! For the more advanced skier or snowboarder, there isn’t as much choice but with several of the red runs and the 8 black runs presenting quite a challenge, you won’t be short of something to do! Expert skiers will be pleased to know that there is also the World Cup descent from Avoriaz to Morzine to attempt - a 1100m vertical! If you prefer cross country skiing then there is over 95km of trails to ski in this resort, varying in difficulty for you to discover.
