Product Vouchers

Your voucher for the goods/services that you have reserved will be sent to you by email. Should you not have received a confirmation email within 24 hours of making your booking, please contact admin@skiholidayextras.com. The voucher will include all the information you need to receive your goods/services in resort. You must print the voucher and take it with you as proof of purchase whenever you are collecting your products from our agents or suppliers on site.

We cannot refund clients unused portions of vouchers; if for any reason you should be unable to use the services booked, i.e. in the case of injury, then a claim should be made to your insurance company.

If you lose your voucher you will have to advise us as soon as possible. Email us on admin@skiholidayextras.com before you leave. If you fail to do this and we have no record of your purchase we may have to charge you again and refund you on your return if we find you have been charged twice. Please put any outstanding issues in writing (with receipts if appropriate) to: skiholidayextras.com, Top Floor Linkline House, 65 Church Road, Hove, East Sussex, BN3 6BD or email us at admin@skiholidayextras.com, within 4 weeks of your return to the UK.

Trade up

You will be able to upgrade any products or services from your resort provided:

a) the upgraded product is available
b) you pay the supplier the difference in price

In the rare event that the company supplying your goods in resort does not have the product or service you requested you will be given the next available upgrade free of charge.

Prices & Currency

All skiholidayextras.com prices are based on the public prices found in resort with the majority of the time a discount for booking the service in advance. The discounts can vary depending on the service/product and range from 2% to 50%. Where there is more than one supplier of a product or service, our prices are based on the supplier rates of our specified supplier, and we do not accept responsibility for promotional activity of other suppliers in resort.

The company reserves the right to withdraw a product from its shop before or after a purchase has been made should it be evident that there is an error in the pricing. All prices are based on the prices charged in resort, with discounts being given on these resort prices, if through human error a price has been entered incorrectly, a new invoice showing the correct pricing will be raised, and your account will either be debited or credited with the balance.

All skiholidayextras.com prices are in Euros, and if you are using a sterling credit card to make your purchase, the amount that will finally debit your account is dependent on the exchange rate used at the time of purchase by your bank or credit card company, this is completely out of our control. Should you have any queries or complaints about this, please take it up with your banking organisation.

Surcharges

With Ski Holiday Extras we do not charge you a credit card surcharge when you purchase our products/services on-line.

We do our best to include all additional costs at the time of booking however we are not liable for any in-resort supplements suppliers may implement throughout the season

Unless you decide to upgrade, (or unless clearly indicated as you are purchasing the product) there will be no surcharges once you have made your booking. The only products where this may occur are ski school lessons or transfers - see below. The only other exception will be in the unlikely event that government action increases or imposes taxes not known at the time of publication.

When making a ski school booking within 4 weeks from arrival we reserve the right to refuse the booking should ski school no longer be available, or to suggest to you alternative arrangements - Any extra costs involved in this will be recharged to the client, any amount paid by the client over the cost of the final product will be refunded.

For private transfers requested during the night or on bank holidays your reservation may be subject to an extra charge after booking. Similarly if your flight is over an hour late you may be subject to paying a waiting fee to the driver in local currency or a charge for excess luggage.

Cancellations

You can cancel without any charges up to 48 hours before your arrival date if you have subscribed to the cancellation insurance at the time of booking. Otherwise the following cancellation fees will be applied depending on the length of notice given:

  • more than 14 days, 10 % of the amount will be kept
  • between 7 and 13 days, 15 % of the amount will be kept
  • between 3 and 6 days, 20 % of the amount will be kept
  • up to 2 days before your arrival, 50 % of the amount will be kept the day before your arrival 100 % of the amount will be kept

Please make any cancellation requests in writing. If you are wishing to cancel only part of the booking the above fees will be applied to the relevent products. Our cancellation insurance costs only 5€ per booking

We are happy to make make any modifications to your booking without charge providing the products are available - any difference in price will be charged or refunded to the client.

Cancellations or Alterations by skiholidayextras.com

skiholidayextras.com will not be responsible for any loss, delay or costs connected with adverse weather conditions.

We check the accuracy of the information provided to you and to our knowledge it is correct at the time of publishing.

We try at all times to meet your requirements, however we reserve the right to cancel or make alterations to any booking made and will ensure that alternative services of a reasonably similar standard to those originally booked will be provided. If an alteration substantially alters your products or services we will give you the option of accepting goods of a comparable standard to those originally booked or of receiving a full refund of money paid. As payment is taken in Euros (€) on skiholidayextras.com, any refund will be for the same amount in Euros (€), and we cannot be held responsible for any fluctuation in the exchange rates, which could work either in your favour or against you.

Claims and complaints

If you have a complaint against skiholidayextras.com or a problem with a product booked through us whilst you are on holiday you must contact our local agents in resort immediately or our admin contact number so that we can rectify the problem.The telephone number (which differs depending on you resort) will be on your voucher. You must notify us before starting to use the product. If you do not allow skiholidayextras.com to rectify the problem immediately this may affect your right to any compensation, although failure to notify us will not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. If we are unable to rectify the problem on the spot you must give our agent in France a written record of your complaint where possible and contact us again within 28 days of your returning from your holiday.

skiholidayextras.com are not liable for any injury, delays,loss, theft, damages or death for extras sourced from a third party

We will respond to all written complaints within five working days.

We will try our best to resolve any complaint you may have with our service quickly and fairly, we are fully committed to the satisfactory resolution of any issues you may have.

Any contract made between the client and skiholidayextras.com is governed in all respects by English Law.

Booking Conditions

Please note that lift passes sold through our website must be purchased after accomodation has been purchased, and we need the ski france accomodation name specified at time of booking.

Special Offers: Please note that if due to a technical error you manage to obtain offer discounts from a voucher code which does not comply with the conditions of the offer specified on the site then we reserve the right to cancel the booking.

Food packs: Due to the high costs in transport throughout the Alps, we are only able to accept bookings where a minimum of 2 packs have been purchased. If the booking contains only welcome packs, then a minimum of 4 welcome packs is needed in the booking in order for it to be accepted. Please note that bookings can only be accepted up to 3 days prior to arrival and that only a maximum of 2 kids packs per 2 adults can be purchased. SkiHolidayExtras.com reserves the right to cancel any food pack booking if it does not meet these criteria, payment for the food pack articles in such cases will be refunded after initial payment.

Ski school - bookings taken in the week prior to departure for peak holiday dates cannot always be accepted due to availability of with the ski schools. In the rare cases where there is no availability we reserve the right to cancel the booking made and reimburse fully the total charged

Scheduled Transfers - Some scheduled transfer routes involve changing buses. Local public bus services are often used especially midweek and on routes we don't have our own coaches. Clients wanting private transfers should book our private transfers.

Our data policy

We are on the UK Data Protection Register. We comply fully with all relevant data protection legislation in the territories in which we operate.

The information that we collect is that which you enter during the ordering and registration process. It is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

We request information from you at various points on the site. We use these details to send out material from time to time that we think will be of interest to you.

  • We will never sell or pass on your details to a third party.
  • We may run specific promotions in conjunction with a third party, but we would share only information gathered in the course of that specific promotion, and we will only work with partners who follow these guidelines.
  • Whenever we collect your information, you will always be given the option not to receive any mailings.
  • If you receive mailings from us, it will contain clear, simple instructions for removing yourself from our database.
  • The only information we will ever keep on you is what you yourself give us.
  • We do not correlate your data with information from any other source.
  • If you ever want to review, correct or remove the information e-mail us at admin@skiholidayextras.com.
  • We take reasonable measures to make sure unauthorised personnel can't access your data via our network or servers.
