Aurach - Ski
The lifts are situated right in the village or in the area, skiing back to the village is possible. There is a skiing bus present which is for free for lift pass owners and hotel guests.
The skibus drives every 10 - 20 minuten between Mittersill-Jochberg-Aurach and Kitzbühel.
Aurach - Town
Aurach is situated on 4 kilometres of Kitzbühel and doesn’t have an own skiing area. It’s a real Tyroler village with a lovely little church. The place is really loved, there is a buss which drives often to the skiing areas in the district.
Activities
The wildpark at the egde of the village is definitely worth a visit. There are about 250 animals which you will meet in the Alps living here, from deer’s to potbellied pigs.
On the Kelchalm is a 4,5 kilometres long toboggan run, which everyone should have tried.
There are 9 restaurants to have a nice dinner, 1 bar, 3 café’s and 2 pubs for après ski. For the adventurer there is a possibility to go parasailing.
There are 100 km of footpaths and last but not least; there is curling.
