Chamonix - Ski
The Aiguilles du Midi dominates the town, and
the only skiing up here is one of the best known itinerary runs, the Vallee Blanche. Even intermediates should be able to tackle the run, although everyone should take a guide. The linked Brevant and Flegere areas can be accessed
directly and both have a good mixture of pistes, with plenty of more challenging off-piste. Lift passes in Chamonix can either be bought for solely the Chamonix sectors or the larger Mont Blanc area.
