Chatel - Ski
The Chatel lift pass gives access to 130km of slopes and 60 ski lifts (see our Piste Map for more information). If that is not enough, Chatel is situated in the heart of one of the biggest ski domains in Europe, Portes du Soleil, with 650km worth of slopes, 14 resorts and 207 ski lifts. Beginners are well-served here with a special area set aside for them and easy access to a high altitude beginners slope. For the more adventurous there is a large amount of easily accessible off-piste skiing.
Les Portes du Soleil includes the resorts Morzine, Avoriaz, Les Gets, Saint-Jean-d’Aulps, Montriond, La Chapelle d’Abondance, Châtel, Morgins, Torgon, Val d’Illiez, Champéry, Champoussin and Les Crosets.
