Crans Montana is made up of three neighbouring resorts (Crans-sur-Sierre, Montana and Aminona) situated in the heart of the Swiss Alps at 1500m above sea level.
Crans Montana - Ski
Crans Montana caters for all abilities of skier. There are slopes on the edge of the forest which are suitable for beginners and intermediates whereas advanced skiers will prefer to take the chairlift to La Toula where they will a really challenging run. Many of the slopes are designed for the intermediate category, but there are several which will present a challenge for the more expert skier.
The ski resort reaches up the Plaine Morte glacier at 3000m therefore you are guaranteed excellent skiing conditions well into the Springtime months. When the weather is good, those on the slopes can see one of the most breathtaking views of the Alps!
Crans Montana is perfect for families. There is a kids-park at the middle station of the Cry d Er above Montana as well as a family orientated restaurant, Tom Puce, and several magic carpets which can help the kids and novices to the beginners slopes.
Crans Montana - Town

There are so many other activities to keep you occupied during your stay in the resort that some days you may forget about skiing altogether! Among other things, you could don your snow shoes and take to the 63km of tracks Crans Montana has to offer, you could try your hand at sledging down the 6km run which starts at the height of 2400m and finishes at 1500m!
