Itter is a small resort, only 5 km away from the well known resort of Soll. In comparison with Soll, Itter is much quieter. Also prices are a bit lower here. The village is located at the foot of the Hohe Salve mountain, one of Tirol’s most beautiful peaks.
Itter - Ski
Itter offers high value skiing. The resort is part of Austrias largest linked ski zone, the SkiWelt area. Its a very attractive place for beginners and snowboarders because of the low prices and the relaxing environment. The ski school offers an excellent service. Furthermore, a lot of blue runs can by found very close to the village. A free ski bus will bring intermediate and advanced skiers to the Salvista Gondola just outside the village.
Snowboarders who are wanting to try out their tricks can check out the half-pipe and snowboard park, or go to the Westendorf area with its infamous freestyle park.
Itter - Village
This charming, small village will presents you with the ultimate relaxing holiday atmosphere.
The village is centered around a picturesque church and castle. A great red run through the trees brings you back to the gondola of into the village. If you are in for some apres ski, you can enjoy the hotel bars or visit Soll. 10 minutes dozn the road, you can discover a variety of restaurants and bars. A taxi from Itter to Soll costs about € 15 for up to 8 people.
Itter - Activities
You can check out the bowling facilities or enjoy the indoor swimming pool. There are sleigh rides and a toboggan run is also available. Furthermore, Itter offers cross country skiing.
