Kirchberg Ski Resort Kirchberg pass Kirchberg piste

Kirchberg- Ski Resort Guide

Piste Map | Snow Report & Weather Forecast | Resort Map

With a ski holiday in Kirchberg you experience skiing in both the Kitzbühel ski area and the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental ski area, two of the largest ski areas in Austria, as well having the opportunity to ski and toboggan at night on a floodlit piste.

Kirchberg- Ski

Kirchberg is located in the Kitzbühel ski area , which offers alltogether 168km of pistes. It is also linked to the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental ski area, the largest in Austria. The Kitzbühel Alps ski pass enables you to ski in both the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental and Kitzbühel ski areas. The large number of snow cannons mean that 70% of the pistes in the Kitzbühel Alps are guaranteed snow. The Kitzbühler Horn has some difficult pistes for those wanting a challenge, as well as some easier ones.

Kirchberg- Resort

Kirchberg is a small, lifely and picturesque town in the Brixen valley, which is in the Kitzbühel Alps. With a good number of bars, restaurants and traditional mountain huts, the Après ski is good, and there are plenty places to choose from if you wish to eat out.

Activities

The 5km Gaisberg toboggan run is open daily from the 25th of December. The run is also floodlit at night, and will be open late daily from the 25th December to the 5th of January, and on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays after then. The piste at Gaisberg is also floodlit on Thursday and Friday nights offering the possibility of night skiing. The ski lifts there are open until 9:30 p.m. on these days. There is also access to the 30km Brixental cross country ski trail network from Kirchberg.

Children

The Kirchberg ski school provides a day care centre for children aged 2-4 who don’t ski. From four years and up, children can take ski lessons either in the ‘Ski Kindergarten’ or with the ‘Kid’s Club’, also provided by the Kirchberg ski school.
