Saalbach itself is really mondain and picturesque. You can find lots of 4 star hotels and shops of luxury top brands.
Saalbach - Ski
The skiing in Saalbach is quite good for beginners and intermediates, there is a large and well-linked circuit with open en tree-lined runs. With the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Skiing you are also allowed to ski in other resorts, especially interesting for experts.
Saalbach is quite low stated and besides that the slopes are very sunny, so there is no snow guaranteed. Though there are many snow cannons to augment natural snow..
Lots of old lifts are replaced by new ones, so in fact there are no queues.
Saalbach - Town
The whole village is car free, so all the luxury cars are parked in a invisible parking place, under the ground, exactly under the practice slope in the middle of the village.
The resort itself is quite big and there is a chance if you’re all in the back, you’ll need a ski bus to go to the lifts.
Hinterglemm is just a long main road, so there is no real centre.
Activities
Saalbach's après-ski is very lively and can get really rowdy. From 3pm until the early hours it rocks non-stop!
There is a recreation centre where you can do different kinds of sports, swimming pools, saunas, ice skating rinks, curling rinks, ice hockey, ice climbing, dart, bowling, tobogganing; tennis and squash courts, 28 miles of walking trails, helicopter rides, sleigh rides, hang-gliding and cross-country ski circuits.
There are as well many art and cultural exhibitions.

There are different kinds of places for children to bring them like Childcare, Kinderparadies, Kindergartens and childrens playground.
