Seefeld has an extensive network of cross country ski trails, along with 45km of downhill ski pistes, two of which are floodlit in the evenings twice a week, allowing the opportunity to ski at night.
Seefeld- Ski
The ski area for Seefeld has 45km of pistes. The Seefeld lift pass gains you access to lifts in the Seefeld and Leutasch resorts. With the ‘Happy Ski Card' lift pass, you will also gain access to lifts in Mittenwald, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Grainau, Ehrwald, Lermoos, Biberwier, Bichlbach, Berwang and Heiterwang.
Seefeld- Resort
Seefeld is a small town, the centre of which is pedestrianised. It has quite a lot of bars, restaurants and cafés as well as a casino, which is open from 3pm.
Activities
Seefeld is an excellent place for those who wish to go cross country skiing, with 266km of cross country ski trails. The trail between Seefeld and Mösern is illuminated from 5pm to 9pm on weekdays, meaning you can also go cross country skiing in the evenings. For those who wish to go hiking, the Seefeld region has 142km of winter hiking paths, including some with breathtaking views. Seefeld also offers night skiing, for those who wish to continue skiing after it gets dark, on the Rosshütte and Härmele pistes, which are floodlit from 6:30 on Wednesday and Fridays.
Children
Seefeld has two ski schools, both of which offer lessons to children from 3 years of age.
