St Sorlin is part or the Les Sybelles ski domain encompassing six resorts - ski 310km of pistes! Opened in December 2003, this development has propelled the region from unknown status into one of France's five largest areas for skiing. St Sorlin shares the L'Arvan valley with its smaller sister village St Jean d'Arves and a 5-minute ski bus journey links up the 2.

The north facing runs above St Sorlin boast some of the more challenging pistes and intermediate skiers and families will find the area ideal for building confidence. There is plenty to explore including the wide bowls of La Toussiure and swooping reds of Le Corbier. Take a look at the layout of the mountains on the piste map. St Sorlin - Resort
Les Sybelles is a delightful area with a rural atmosphere and although St Sorlin is the main resort it still manages to maintain a traditional village air. This is a truly French rustic scene, where locals have never left Savoie and think nothing of drinking red wine for breakfast. They'll happily chat all day and teach you some vocabulary that is never heard in the classroom!
St Sorlin - Activities
For the adventurous there is paragliding, snow shoe walks, dog-sledding and cross country skiing. For those that want a break from all the activity there is a Fromagerie open for visits.

For young children the Garderie is open 9am - 5.30pm for children 2 years and up. Other wise ski school lesson are available for children from the age of 5.
