Brixen im Thale is located in the northeast part of the state of Tyrol and is one of nine villages in the region. The Wilder Kaiser - Brixen Valley is lift-linked by a large lift system, making it the largest connected ski area in Austria, which is known as the Ski-Welt. This area offers a huge range of on- and off-piste skiing and snowboarding.

The Ski-Welt region has 250kms of fantastic runs for all levels of skiers, and especially for the beginner and intermediate skier. Thale is a very quiet resort and perfect for families and first time skiers to learn and take it easy on the slopes.
