Trins- Ski
Skiing in Trins is great if you have young children or first-time skiers in your party as the resort is fairly small – direct acces to only 7 individual pistes – and not busy at all. It has a tow-lift and very reliable snow conditions meaning that skiing is available throughout the season. The lift to the ski area on the Bergeralm in Steinach is a few driving minutes away and an additional ski area in Sattelberg is nearby.
Trins- Resort
Trins is nestled in the Gschnitz Valley, just south of Innsbruck. This traditional Tyrolean, with amazing views of the surrounding Stubai Alps, is perfect for families or those taking to skis for the first time. You will enjoy the peaceful, intact nature whether you are cross-country skiing on well-prepared trails through the whole valley, downhill skiing or ski-touring on the surrounding mountains.
Trins - Apres Ski and Other Activities
There are several bars and restaurants to unwind in after a busy day skiing, all of which are fairly traditional, friendly and cosy. You can try sledging and ice skating if you do not fancy hitting the pistes again. Many hotels arrange evenings with full-moon sledding and apres-sledding in one of the cozy mountain huts.
