Valloire - Ski Resort GuideWebcam | Piste Map | Snow Report & Weather Forecast Valloire is a fantastic ski resort which manages to retain a real French atmosphere. This delightful village has a scenic setting (see the webcam) as well as some exceptionally fine skiing. It has an impressive old church, a weekly market and local cheese outlets alongside powder that can stay untracked for days - and all at affordable prices! Valloire - SkiThe skiing is spread over three main linked areas: Setaz is a pretty wooded area with some of the best off piste opportunities, Crey du Quart is home to wide-open pistes and Valmeiner faces west and catches the afternoon sun. Beginner skiers will love the area, as there are plenty of wide gentle slopes for gaining confidence. Intermediates can enjoy cruising wide blue and red pistes and experts will appreciate the lack of crowds on the blacks and off piste. This resort is a fantastic choice for groups of mixed abilities - take a look at the piste map. Valloire - ResortIn Valloire expect to become part of the ‘scene' very quickly! The emphasis is on social bars and informal restaurants. Eating out can be very inexpensive here with plenty of creperies and pizzerias, with the occasional gourmet restaurant for that special night out. The bars are friendly and fun with the occasional live band. Valloire is not massive on the British scene so expect to mix with all nationalities. ActivitiesIf the weather is too bad to be outdoors hit the leisure centre with jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath, gymnasium, fitness room, sun bed and hammam.
