Airport Transfers

Airport transfers are the easiest way to get up to your ski resort if you are arriving by plane - you don't have to worry about driving on the wrong side of the road or dealing with the snow and ice on mountain roads! Whats more it saves you time as you don't need to fill in all the paperwork for your hire car or get lost map reading!

Booking a transfer through our site couldn't be more easy - just select your resort in our booking engine and choose your arrival point. We offer two types of airport transfer service: private ski transfers and scheduled ski transfers. Scheduled airport transfer services are buses or coaches which have set departure times whilst private transfers are more of a personal taxi service. For more information on the two types see below. We offer ski transfers from the following French airports:

Chambery airport gives the shortest transfer time to most resorts including the Three Valleys, Val d'Isere and Tignes, La Plagne and Les Arcs but Grenoble has an excellent turnaround time and is convenient for resorts in the Tarentaise such as Alpe d'Huez and Les Deux Alpes aswell as resorts in the Southern Alps. Geneva is nearest to the northern resorts such as Les Portes de Soleil and Megeve. You can book flights with us to Chambery or Grenoble aiport. For other flight information check our airline links.

Private Airport Transfer Services

Private transfer services are booked for your party alone and will pick you up and drop you off at the exact times and places that you require. You can book online your private transfer from all the airports listed above to all main ski stations. They become more economic the larger your group is and the prices increase in bands by party size. If you can't find the route you require or are booking for a larger party use our transfer request form.

Please note that on certain occasions we may request a supplement on top of the price on our site. Transfers required between 20:00-8:00 or on bank holidays are subject to a 20% supplement and on Christmas Day the price is double. We also cannot guarentee transfers booked last minute up to three days before the transfer is required. In the rare case we can't book you a transfer we will ring you directly and refund your money. Where applicable fees for the Mont Blanc or Frejus tunnel are always included in our prices. On a couple of routes where the tunnel fees are not included this will be mentioned at the time of booking.

Scheduled Airport Transfer Services

When you book a scheduled ski transfer you are booking a seat on a coach or bus which has a set departure time and will drop you off at specific stops in resort. These are a lot cheaper than private transfers if you are travelling in a small party or by yourself. For many shared transfers a change of vehicle may be involved half way through the journey. On certain routes and times our supplier may be the local bus service which operates in the area.

Our scheduled airport transfer services are currently only online from Geneva, Grenoble, Chambery and Lyon airports to all the main French resorts. Prices start from £50/€74 per person return and departure times will be displayed at the time of booking.

Practicalities

During the height of the season transfers fill-up quickly so book in advance.
In high season allow plenty of time for traffic delays.
A set luggage allowance usually applies - check the terms and conditions for details.
If you are travelling with young children you will need to provide your own car seat.
